Aaron Gobidas Graduates from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Executive Business and Management Program
GoBeRewarded owner, Aaron Gobidas, graduated along with 31 other small business owners who comprised the Spring 2019 Cohort at Long Beach City College
Clients and community members who met Aaron in the start-up stage of GoBeRewarded can attest to our company's rapid growth since signing our first client in 2015. What began as a part-time pursuit while Aaron was an active duty marine stationed at Camp Pendleton, GoBeRewarded now employs 8 full time marketing professionals in a 1,700 square foot office in Vista, CA.
But, what's next?Inspired by the revenue growth and job creation success of 10,000 Small Businesses alumni, Aaron felt his knowledge and leadership skills needed to improve in order to accomplish his next set of goals.
Aaron spent the past 11 weeks commuting to Long Beach where he completed a specialized business and management curriculum designed for businesses in GoBeRewarded's current phase of growth. The 10,000 Small Businesses curriculum was comprised of nine modules that were developed by Babson College and has been deservedly called an "MBA Boot Camp" for entrepreneurs.
In addition to expert led courses, peer learning played a critical role in the curriculum. This put Aaron in conversations about finance, marketing, processes and human resources with a diverse group small business owners who have been facing similar challenges.
The program culminated in the establishment of a 5-year growth plan that includes financial forecasting and critical steps. Aaron has developed a plan for GoBeRewarded's future that includes 259% revenue growth and the creation of 13 new jobs during the next five years.
10,000 Small Businesses was launched in 2009 as part of a $500 million initiative by Goldman Sachs to provide US entrepreneurs an integrated program of practical business and management education, access to capital, and business support services.
