Congratulations to Media Director Ashley McCann for Being Nominated to San Diego Magazine's Annual Celebrating Women Awards

Ashley McCann Nominated for San Diego Magazine Celebrating Women Awards

Recently Creative Director and GoBeRewarded Media Director Ashley McCann was nominated for the 2022 San Diego Magazine Celebrating Women Awards.  The awards are designed to celebrate women who are doing incredible things in San Diego and beyond.  The magazine cites the award ceremony as a way to celebrate San Diegans who are making waves and changing the game. Many of the women honored are  female changemakers, groundbreakers and visionaries that are leading San Diego!

McCann was apart of 400 submissions, only roughly half of which made it through to the finalist round.  The finalists will now be vetted down to the top five in each category by a panel comprised of unbiased women at San Diego Magazine and previous finalists.  The categories include Builders, Creators, Activists, Healers, Public Servants, and Moguls along with San Diego Magazine’s selected Woman of the Year.

McCann was nominated for the Creator category after successfully helping GoBeRewarded merge with another video production company this year.  McCann was a key contributor and essential part of an acquisition that recently happened at GoBeRewarded.  Thanks to her leadership a merger with a small video production company was smooth and successful.  This merger will eventually help GoBeRewarded expand its offerings in the future, enable our staff to take on new challenges and grow creatively.

As a leader, McCann embraced the challenge and change that accompanied the acquisition.  She met with her team members individually and discussed how their roles would eventually change.

The nominees will be honored on November 17th from 6pm-9pm at the Town & Country Resort.  For more information about the event click here.  If you are interested in attending click here to buy tickets.
